So my friend and walking buddy just got herself a Kindle, and she was complaining about how boring the cases are.
For example, she doesn't like my Mophie iPhone case because it is plain black. Doesn't matter that it holds an extra charge for those podcast sessions, it's boring.
This is the iPhone case she picked out.
Do you see what I mean? So I decided to make her some Kindle bling.
This tutorial from Moda Bake Shop is the one I used for my mom's Kindle cover last summer. It is so quick and cute!
I used the leftover fabric from this same friend's 40th birthday quilt and some copper colored fusible bias tape for her initial.
This is a great project if you need a quick and easy birthday gift for someone. Or if you just have a really good friend with a new toy!
What's your favorite quick and easy project? Hope you have a great weekend!
I made a couple of Kindle covers from selvages - love them.
