A Wonderful Weekend

I'm a southern girl at heart, so when the weather turns nasty I do what generations of strong women have done over the centuries: I stayed in my pajamas all day sewing and refusing to leave the house.

It was worth it, though, don't you think? I got the top of Orange Crush pieced. It is still busy, but beautiful. My daughter loves it, which is a good thing since it is going on her bed! Now I am auditioning borders, and I think I'm going to go with one of these:

I think I prefer the one on the right. What do you think? Let me know!

On a patriotic note, there are some great ideas for commemorating the Inauguration tomorrow with kids at The Crafty Crow.

Enjoy the rest of your 3-day weekend. I hope everyone is staying warm.

  1. Lime green is a favorite color, so I naturally prefer that color for your border. The top is gorgeous!

  6. Despite not generally being a pink person, I liked that border better, but ultimately: ask your daughter, she has to like it. ;^)
